New Fortnite Sprites Release Times Explained

The new Fortnite Sprites released early today, going live on October 15 at 2:30 AM PT / 5:30 AM ET. So you can jump into a match and start hunting for them right now!

Unlike the previous update, which added the Trick or Treat variants to the files ahead of their release, this batch is already available to collect. That gives players roughly two more weeks to track down the new additions and master their collection before the Override season ends on October 31.

New Fortnite Sprite Powers Explained

While the October 15 update adds 17 Sprites, most are alternate variants. The two completely new additions are One Wish Willow and Honey, which bring their own abilities to the battle royale.

One Wish Willow helps players collect other Sprites, making it a particularly useful addition if you are still trying to finish your collection. Meanwhile, the Honey Sprite brings a swarm of bees into the action.

Here is a breakdown of the two new Fortnite Sprite powers:

Sprite	Power
One Wish Willow Sprite	Helps you collect other Sprites.
Honey Sprite	Sends bees after enemies who damage you.

The Quack variants give five existing Sprites a shiny new makeover. If Klombo wasn’t already difficult enough to track down, collectors now have another version to chase before the season ends.

How Many Sprites Are in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4?

The October 15 additions bring the total number of Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 to 162, including their alternate variants. That’s a lot of Sprites to collect and master in a single season!

This is also likely the final batch of new Sprites being added during the Override season. While Epic Games could still have a surprise waiting for us, the latest update gives collectors what will likely be their final checklist heading into the last stretch.

When Does Fortnite chapter 7 season 4 End?

Fortnitemares 2026 ends on October 31, which also marks the end of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4’s Override season. That means players have roughly two more weeks to finish collecting and mastering their Sprites.

If you are still missing a rare Klombo variant or haven’t finished leveling your Halloween collection, now is the time to get to work. With One Wish Willow, Honey, and the new Quack variants joining the hunt, there is plenty to keep collectors busy before October 31.

Epic Games has confirmed that the Honey Sprite and Obsession Sprite are coming to Fortnite on October 15. Here is the full list of new Sprites and expected variants arriving in the next Fortnitemares 2026 update.

How Many New Fortnite Sprites Are Coming on October 15?

Up to 12 new Fortnite Sprites are expected in the October 15 update, including variants of the new Honey Sprite and Obsession Sprite. The Honey Sprite is one of the winners of the Chapter 7 Season 3 community design-a-Sprite contest. It is also the last winning design from the Runners competition to be added to the game.

The Obsession Sprite, meanwhile, is a collab with Curry Barker’s breakout 2026 horror movie of the same name. It will let players use a “One Wish Willow” power, although we are still waiting for the full details on how it works.

So far, only the Honey Sprite has been confirmed to have all six variants. If the Obsession Sprite gets the same treatment, we will have 12 new Sprites to collect. However, if it only has its base form, the total will be seven.

All New Fortnite Sprites Coming on October 15

Here is the list of confirmed Honey Sprites and expected Obsession variants coming in the October 15 update:

• Honey Sprite
• Gold Honey Sprite
• Cheat Master Honey Sprite
• Loot Hacker Honey Sprite
• Bounty Hunter Honey Sprite
• Trick or Treat Honey Sprite
• Obsession Sprite
• Gold Obsession Sprite (unconfirmed)
• Cheat Master Obsession Sprite (unconfirmed)
• Loot Hacker Obsession Sprite (unconfirmed)
• Bounty Hunter Obsession Sprite (unconfirmed)
• Trick or Treat Obsession Sprite (unconfirmed)

We’ll update this list as soon as the Obsession Sprite’s variants are confirmed.

New Fortnite Sprite Powers Explained

At the time of writing, Epic Games has not fully explained how the new Sprite powers work. However, official previews and the Honey Sprite’s original community contest description give us an idea of what to expect:

• Honey Sprite: Launches a swarm of bees at enemies when you take damage, according to the original contest concept.
• Obsession Sprite: Uses a “One Wish Willow” power, rumored to let you wish for a Sprite in the overworld.

The final abilities could differ from the original concept or rumored details, so we’ll update this section once the Sprites are live. If both new Sprites receive all six versions, the Chapter 7 Season 4 collection will reach 157 Sprites. Which, yeah, is a lot.

With Fortnite Override ending on October 31, these are likely to be the last Sprites added this season. That gives collectors a little over two weeks to hunt them down before the next season arrives.

Dataminers have revealed the remaining Fortnitemares 2026 collabs releasing after the October 15 update. From Slender Man to Obsession, here are the Halloween Fortnite crossovers that will be launching soon.

All Remaining Fortnitemares Collabs Revealed

It’s hard to believe that we are already halfway through Fortnitemares 2026. Although Epic Games has already released many crossovers such as Five Nights at Freddy’s, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Hollow Knight, there are still plenty more on the way.

According to dataminers, we have a pretty good idea of which Fortnitemares 2026 collabs will arrive after the upcoming October 15 update. For your convenience, here is the list of remaining reported crossovers:

All Fortnitemares Collabs Releasing After October 15

• Obsession
• Slender Man
• Hazbin Hotel
• HamiKuma (Halloween Horror Nights)
• Beetlejuice
• The Purge
• Predator: Badlands
• League of Legends (datamined)
• Metal Sonic (Sonic Wave 2 datamined)
• The Exorcist (datamined)

Dataminers have also listed original Nurse and Spice skins, along with more cosmetics. These aren’t crossovers, but they could give players even more Halloween outfits to choose from.

When Is SlenderMan Coming to Fortnite?

Slender Man is expected to arrive in Fortnite after the October 15 update. According to dataminers, his cosmetics will likely be added to the game’s files on Thursday. However, Epic Games has not confirmed a specific Item Shop release date.

Many of the remaining Fortnitemares 2026 collabs will be added to the game’s files this Thursday, with staggered releases throughout the coming weeks. If we had to guess, October 17 could be a date to watch for Hazbin Hotel or Slender Man, given Epic Games’ recent Saturday crossover releases. That is speculation, though, so don’t mark your calendar just yet.

We’ll update this list as soon as Epic Games releases its weekly shop rotation trailer. Meanwhile, the Obsession crossover is scheduled to launch on October 15, the same day as the upcoming Fortnitemares 2026 update.
