Apple’s new Find My-compatible remote will also work with your old Apple TV

14 October 2026 at 16:39

You don't need to buy the new Apple TV 4K just to get the updated Siri Remote with Find My and a built-in speaker, as it works with every model released going back to the Apple TV HD and is available to buy standalone for $59.

Previous Siri Remotes had a basic iOS feature to help you find your misplaced remote, but this is better, with one notable catch. Now the remote has Find My support, but if you want to see exactly how far away it is on your iPhone with details like "20 feet," rather than simply "far" or "near," you will need to have an iPhone Duo, iPhone Air, or any iPhone 17 or later. Those are the only models that include its new N …

LG’s RGB LED TV is good for certain situations, but an OLED is better

The LG’s picture is bright and punchy, but its panel is very reflective.

When it comes to TVs, the LG name has long been synonymous with OLEDs, continually leading Samsung and Sony as the top OLED manufacturer. But 2026 is all about RGB LED TVs. Almost every major company has released models with the new technology - including LG and its $3,600 75-inch Micro RGB evo MRGB95B that I've been testing. Roku’s OLED TVs are up to $400 off during Prime Day, starting at $700

7 October 2026 at 21:27

Just over a week ago, we covered a deal at Amazon that knocked around 30 percent off Roku’s new (and first-ever) OLED TVs. The deal expired, but has returned for the final day of October Prime Day.

The 55-inch Pro Series OLED is $699.99 at Amazon, which is 30 percent off its list price. The 65-inch model is $799.99, which is $400 off its list price, also at Amazon. Both models support a native 120Hz refresh rate, which is great for gaming, plus four HDMI 2.1 ports for 4K gaming at its full refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus. You’ll also get a backlit Roku remote control.

There have been a few TV deals during Prime Day, though these are the lowest prices on OLEDs by a wide margin. We haven’t tested this model, but it’s an affordable way to get unbeatable contrast for your next movie or game night.
