Drake Responds After ‘Goated’ Ella Langly Spotted Vibing Out to His Song With Lil Wayne

17 August 2026 at 23:59

Ella Langley was recently spotted vibing out to Drake and Lil Wayne’s song “HYFR” online. Now, Champagne Papi has responded with matched energy.

In a post on social media, the “Choosin’ Texas” singer lip-synced along to “HYFR” played in the background. Then, Drake took to one of her Instagram posts, liking it and commenting, “Goated Pen,” alongside a pen emoji.

We can only assume the light banter here is just friendly, but Drake does have a charm that often implies more. This was certainly true of his online date with content creator and cosplayer Pinkchyu.

The OnlyFans star was the winner of a 20v1 gameshow, as part of Stake’s ninth anniversary celebration. As part of her prize, she got to spend some 1-on-1 time with the rapper.

Pinkchyu was later asked by TMZ if she and Drake did more than just talk. “No, no, no. We just had a lot of conversations,” she admitted. She went on to note that she and Drake are “complete opposites.” However, she said he was “wonderfully kind.”

Drake is buying Pinkchyu’s mother a home

Notably, during the stream, Drake promised to buy Pinkchyu’s mom a house, after finding out that this was the main reason she’d signed up for the competition. It appears that he is making good on that promise, and Pinkchyu’s mom is very happy.

“I think she’s just really grateful,” Pinkchyu told TMZ. “I do [OnlyFans] and a lot of the money I have I do take care of my family, like, help my sisters. I’m half Mexican, so we’re all really, really close, and so obviously she’s like over the moon.”

The goth influencer added that Drake’s generosity made her “really happy.”

Pinkchyu wasn’t the only 20v1 contestant to praise Drake for his charm

In additon to Pinkchyu, adult film star Lily Phillips was also a contestant on the 20v1 game show. It also turns out that she had nothing but nice things to say about Drake. I’ve never met a nicer celebrity. He is so down to earth, so goofy, so silly, so funny,” she shared with The Tab. “He is the same with everyone, whether you’ve got a million followers like me or you’ve got zilch.”

4 Times Kendrick Lamar Subtly Teased the Start to His Official Feud With Drake

15 August 2026 at 21:18

A lot of people don’t realize that tensions between Drake and Kendrick Lamar had been brewing for over a decade. Dating at least back to 2013, the pair have thrown shots at each other. The only reason things didn’t absolutely explode sooner was that Drake made an abundance of other enemies that took priority in the years since. Moreover, Lamar had different aspirations and grander ideas to exercise than bickering with the Toronto MC.

To properly document the years of beef simmering between the two hip-hop giants, we’ve collected four verses where the Compton legend threw shots at his biggest rival.

4 Kendrick Lamar Verses That Proved His Beef With Drake Long Before ‘Not Like Us’

“Control”

The funny thing about Kendrick Lamar’s infamous “Control” verse is that the “diss” in question was extremely tame. All he did was list his many contemporaries, including Drake, and challenge them to be the best rapper in the game. “I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n***as/Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n***as/They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n***as,” Kendrick Lamar spit.

Still, it was enough to get Drake in his feelings and start a long cold war for the next decade.

“All The Stars”

Who knew that you could throw subliminal disses at your enemies in a song for a Disney soundtrack? Kendrick Lamar’s verse on “All The Stars” for the Black Panther soundtrack is largely subliminal in the shots fired. You might even think it’s too broad to apply to any specific person.

But knowing that Kendrick Lamar had constantly questioned Drake’s moral integrity in 2024, the shoe fits on “All The Stars”. He scoffed at ego and entitlement, wanting nothing to do with fake people. “I hate people that feel entitled/Look at me crazy ’cause I didn’t invite you/Oh, you important? You the moral to the story? You endorsin’?/Mothaf***a, I don’t even like you,” he rapped.

2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher With TDE

In the immediate aftermath of the “Control” verse, Drake threw some scattered shots and complained a little bit during interviews. Lamar largely scoffed at his reactions during the 2013 Hip-Hop Awards, dropping a sly reference to Drake and telling him to toughen up.

Yeah, and nothing been the same since they dropped ‘Control’/And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes,” Kendrick quipped.

“King Kunta”

Ever since he battled ghostwriting allegations from Meek Mill in 2015, Drake’s legitimacy as a rapper started to come into question. Skeptics turned to full-blown haters, and pre-existing haters only had more fuel to argue Drake wasn’t that great.

Kendrick Lamar also indulged on “King Kunta”, wondering what happened to hip-hop for ghostwriting to be acceptable. Moreover, he even teased that he quietly knew about the allegations long before we did. “I swore I wouldn’t tell, but most of y’all sharing bars/Like you got the bottom bunk in a two-man cell,” Lamar rapped.

Drake Has Apparently Been Down Bad for Goth Girls Since His ‘Degrassi’ Days—and He’s Got the Receipts

13 August 2026 at 21:57

Drake got hit with the goth girl allegations after his date with Pinkchyu. However, the Toronto rapper has receipts to prove he’s been down bad for them since his Degrassi days.

In early August 2026, Drake made a 20v1 stream appearance as part of Stake’s ninth anniversary celebration. During the event, Pinkchyu—a content creator and cosplayer—won the game show. As part of her winnings, Drake promised he’d buy her mom a new house.

At one point, Pinkchyu got Drake to bark for her, which led to a lot of chatter online. Some of the conjecture implied that this was Drake’s goth girl awakening, but that’s not true. In an X/Twitter post you can see below, Drake proved he’s long been aware of the goth baddies.

“This s**t not new,” Drake wrote on his Instagram story, alongside a screenshot of him on DFegrassi as a teenager, standing next to an actress who was all gothed out.

Interestingly, in a previous interview with Bobbi Althoff, Drake yet again proved his fascination for goth girls. “I don’t know if the world is ready to accept what I feel is my dream – what is my, like partner,” he said. “Because I feel like it’s some, like, tweaked-out goth, tatted all over.”

Look, you can say a lot of things about Drake, but you can’t say he’s lying about simping for goth girls.

Drake really is buying a house for Pinkchyu’s mom

As for that promise to buy Pinkchyu’s mom a house, the content creator told TMZ  he was dead serious. “I think she’s just really grateful,” she told the outlet. “I do [OnlyFans] and a lot of the money I have I do take care of my family, like, help my sisters. I’m half Mexican, so we’re all really, really close, and so obviously she’s like over the moon.”

Pinkchyu was also asked if she and Drake hooked up. “No, no, no. We just had a lot of conversations,” she said. The OF creator added that she and Drake are “complete opposites,” but that was “wonderfully kind.” His generosity made her “really happy,” she added.

Notably, adult film actress Lily Phillips—who also participated in the 20v1—echoed Pinkchyu’s sentiments.I’ve never met a nicer celebrity. He is so down to earth, so goofy, so silly, so funny,” she told The Tab. “He is the same with everyone, whether you’ve got a million followers like me or you’ve got zilch.”
