Two notable Atlanta rappers were arrested in September in connection with a shooting that occurred on April 25, 2026. Atlanta PD released a statement on September 15, 2026, detailing the arrests. It states that Zahair Myles, known by his stage name Warhol.SS, “self-surrendered and was booked into the Fulton County Jail. Mr. Myles is charged with Felony Murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony, Armed Robbery, and Aggravated Assault.”

Two weeks prior, on September 1, police arrested Jacquawn Andrews, known by the stage name Nino Paid, while attempting to re-enter the United States after performing in Toronto. The statement reads, “On September 1, 2026, Mr. Jacquawn Andrews was apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol while attempting to re-enter the United States from Canada. Mr. Andrews is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail in Michigan, pending extradition to Georgia. Mr. Andrews is being charged with Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, and Aggravated Assault.”

Police arrested the two in connection with a previous incident in April 2026. Chance The Rapper Is Victorious in Legal Battle Against His Ex-Manager

15 October 2026 at 18:41

Chance The Rapper has been in the midst of a legal dispute with his former manager. Back in March 2026, a court sided with Chance The Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett. Chance and his former manager, formerly dubbed Pat The Manager, have been in a multi-year legal battle over contract and interference claims. The two worked together from 2012 until 2020 under an informal partnership, rather than a traditional record label deal. In 2020, Chance fired Pat Corcoran and moved his role to his own family members, his father and his brother.

Following Corcoran’s firing in April 2020, the former manager sued Chance in November of that year. Corcoran claimed an oral 2013 handshake agreement entitled him to a three-year “sunset clause,” which included post-termination commissions and royalties until April 2023. Additionally, the former manager sought out $3.8 million in unpaid commissions and expenses. Chance The Rapper argued that the two worked under an at-will agreement that never included the “sunset clause.” In March 2026, a judge rejected the $3.8 million claim. He awarded Chance a measly $35 while also forcing Corcoran to surrender the domain name, ChanceRaps.com.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, a Chicago judge ordered Corcoran to forfeit compensation that could exceed $1.5 million. Rolling Stone reports that “the ruling resolves the remaining breach of fiduciary duty claim that was left to the court to decide, not the jury.”

Chance The Rapper Responds To The Ruling

In a statement to Rolling Stone, Chance reacts to the ruling. “I’m grateful to finally close this chapter of my life and can’t wait to eventually tell my side of the story.” He added, “I’m thankful to the courts and, more importantly, to God for remaining faithful.”

Rolling Stone also obtained a 28-page ruling from Cook County Circuit Court Judge James E. Hanlon Jr. It detailed that “Corcoran breached his duty. His merchandise company took commissions from Bennett’s own vendors on Bennett’s own orders, which is a secret profit,” the judge wrote. “Corcoran was Bennett’s agent and fiduciary. He bought goods and services with Bennett’s money, dealt with vendors in Bennett’s name, and carried Bennett’s position into negotiations with people Bennett never met. In that sphere he owed loyalty and disclosure, and the rules about secret profits and conflicting interests apply.”

The judge indicated that Corcoran’s disloyalty caused real harm to the rapper and his merchandising company. Corcoran must “surrender all commissions received from the merchandise vendors at issue and to forfeit the 15 percent management fee attributable to merchandising that was paid to him or any entity he controlled.”

Eminem Has a New Solo Album on the Way, According to His Long-Time Collaborator and Fellow Rap Icon

13 October 2026 at 21:51

50 Cent’s next big project is the new Street Fighter film. The acclaimed rapper portrays one of the game’s characters, Balrog, in the film, and also apparently worked on the soundtrack. Interestingly, in a new red carpet interview, 50 revealed that his ol’ buddy Eminem had previously been working with him on some music for the film.

“Em, well, he put a couple pieces together for it,” 50 Cent said. However, Eminem ultimately “decided that” he had to prioritize work on his next solo album. “He kinda fell back on that,” 50 added.

Notably, this is not the first time that 50 Cent has talked about working with Em in the Street Fighter soundtrack. “I got some music that I’m working on. I did something currently: me, Eminem and 2Pac,” he told Today With Jenna & Sheinelle in July 2026. “They delivered it. It’s for the theme of Street Fighter, the movie. We worked on it and got it right.”

50 Cent and Eminem have a deep bond and strong friendship

Eminem and 50 Cent aren’t just musical collaborators; they’re also really close friends. While 50 is known for trolling other rappers and getting into beefs, he once told Jimmy Kimmel that he’d “never” beef with Em.

“Never with Em because he’s done everything for me,” he said back in 2020. “He provided my opportunity and from there… Dre is like to Em what Em is for me, and so having us together, it’s the coolest thing.”

For his part, Eminem was on hand for 50 Cent’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, and he had some glowing things to say about his friend.

“I just wanna say man, I’m here today because this is not only a business partner to me, it’s one of the best friends I’ve ever known in the world,” Em said, per iHeart. “I would say that it’s much more fun to be his friend than it is to be his enemy because this guy is f**king relentless. And he won’t stop. And the same way that he’s relentless in his battles, he’s also relentless in his business.”

Eminem continued: “He’s an artist, an entrepreneur, an actor, a director, a producer; he can juggle, he’s great at Scrabble. He pretty much does it all. And he’s also helped me through a lot of hard times in my own life, and he’s always been there when I needed him. So 50, congrats on your star, man. Hollywood is making official what I knew from the beginning, what Dre knew from the beginning.”

Rapper-Wrestler Loses His Job After Controversial Freestyle About Deadly Attacks

13 October 2026 at 19:48

Rapping wrestler “Platinum” Max Caster has been fired after delivering a controversial freestyle ahead of his first and last match. Part of Caster’s persona is that he always comes out spitting bars before a match. He’s done it for years, and it was a staple of his time at AEW.

After exiting the company, he was picked up by TNA Wrestling. During his very first match at the promotion’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view on Oct. 11, 2026, Caster made some comments referencing attacks in Riyadh that killed and injured many people. Now, in a statement, TNA has denounced Caster’s comments and announced his firing.

Max Caster was fired from TNA wrestling for making comments about the fatal attack in Riyadh

“Making light of violent attacks is wrong,” they stated. “This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize.”

TNA continued, “We have removed the segment from replays and our social channels, and are taking steps to ensure something like this never happens again. Max Caster will no longer be wrestling for TNA.”

Following his firing, Max Caster has spoken out and apologized

In the wake of being fired, Max Caster has spoken out. He apologized and stated that he understood why the TNA President had to make this decision.

“I wanna say thank you to Carlos Silva. I talked to him in person,” Caster said in a video posted on social media. “He was very generous, very professional, even after all this stuff happened. I understand why he did what he did. It’s his show. He’s gotta protect TNA, and I went too far for him. So, I wanna apologize to him and everybody else in the office. I want to apologize to anyone who vouched for me to get that spot. I feel like I let those people down.”

“I’m proud of that match, and I’m sorry for how things have ended up,” Caster continued. ‘And then, for anybody who’s offended, I just want everybody to know that when I do these raps, it’s never to offend people. It’s only to entertain. So, in my mind, it’s entertainment value first. And then if you’re offended by it, that’s your right. So I can’t apologize for anyone being offended, but just know that it’s not my intention to make people upset. If it gets a reaction, I think I did my job.”

“The consequences of everything, I’m accepting that. I can accept the facts of that. And then, to anybody who is asking if I’m good, I’m good. I’m just embarrassed how all this happened. You don’t want it to be one match, and then that’s it, you get fired. But again, that’s the reality of the situation. I’m accepting it, and that’s life.”

Tupac Shakur’s Convicted Killer Faces Life in Prison Over 30 Years After Rapper’s Murder

13 October 2026 at 17:52

Over 30 years after the murder of Tupac Shakur, the convicted killer finally knows his fate. According to AP News, 63-year-old Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis has been sentenced to life in prison without any possibility of parole. Back in August, he was convicted of first-degree murder and is the only person who has ever been charged over Pac’s death.

For years, what happened to the hip-hop icon largely went unsolved. All we knew was that one night, he was in a black BMW with Suge Knight when another car pulled up at a red light and fired off several shots at them. Tupac was hit multiple times and died six days later in the hospital.

However, people found that Keffe D was speaking about that infamous night for years. He was granting interviews and even spoke about his role in the shooting in his 2019 memoir. Shakur and his crew had previously beaten up his nephew in Las Vegas. Consequently, he sought revenge and was in the passenger seat when the incident went down. The other people in the car who shot Pac had long passed away, leaving Davis and Suge Knight as the only ones who could recall that night.

Additionally, detectives knew some of these details. However, he was able to avoid prosecution for years because of a deal he made with law enforcement.

Keffe D is Sentenced to Life in Prison for the Murder of Tupac Shakur

Sentencing and all, Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis maintains his innocence. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he and his lawyer are already working on avoiding the life sentence.“S**t, I ain’t worried. I’m getting out on an appeal,” Keffe D told journalist Jeff Weiss. “We already filed it before the trial even started. They violated my civil rights!”

Additionally, throughout the interview, he doubled down on his innocence. He insisted that he wasn’t in the car the night that Tupac Shakur died. Instead, he was far away at a bar near UCLA. The next morning, he was home eating breakfast with his family.

Ultimately, he viewed the trial as a series of lies to try and implicate him in the murder. “Man, they lied about me so much. I don’t even know where to begin,” Davis said of the Tupac trial. “All those cops in there was lying like a motherf**ker. The prosecutors were lying about me. The only one who didn’t was [former FBI agent] Wade Lee.”
